Conditions and requirements
General

Your API user must have View, Create, or Edit object permissions for Tickets to create tag associations.

To delete existing ticket tag associations, your API user must have both the Can administer ticket tags and tag groups permission and the Can remove ticket tags from tickets permission.
- This entity cannot perform updates. It can only create or delete ticket tag associations.
- You may add a maximum of 30 tags to a ticket. Requests that exceed this threshold will fail.
