Managing contact action templates
A Contact Action Template contains a predefined email, note and to-do (or any combination thereof) that is used to populate the Contact Action page.
The Contact Action Templates page contains all of your current templates, including several sample email templates to help you get started. From the list you can add new templates, open a template for editing, and delete templates.
Your existing templates are managed from the right-click menu on the Contact Action Templates page.
Menu Option | Description |

New | Click to create a new Contact Action Template. Refer to Creating and executing contact actions. |
Column Chooser | Click to select, de-select and order the fields and User-Defined Fields to display in the table. |
View Contact Action Template | This selection, or clicking on the template name allows you to open the Edit Contact Action Template page. Refer to Creating and executing contact actions. |
Edit Contact Action Template | This selection allows you to edit the template's name and description. To change the email, notes or to-do that make up the template, click View Contact Action Template, make the desired changes, and save the template under the same or a new name. |
Delete Contact Action Template | You can delete any template from the Contact Action Template list. Deletion cannot be undone. |
